The Blue Plate Special

Battered and pan-fried “chicken” fingers served open face on grilled organic multi-grain bread with tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet pickle chips and our smokey mustard dressing. Accompanied by our classic house potato salad made from organic potatoes, tossed with scallions, celery, carrots and fresh herb mayo dressing.

This classic dish was served 25 years ago when we first opened the Cheeze as a vegetarian restaurant. We offer this plant-based non-GMO variation in honor of our anniversary, our upcoming re-location to Baraboo, our Fathers everywhere on Fathers Day, and most especially to a dear old friend we like to call “the Old Man” with all our love.
